Karen Kinningham Apfel, 57, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 19, 2012. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 23, 1955. Karen Kinningham Apfel was an Office Assistant for D.O.E. Clark County School District. She is survived by husband; Michael Apfel, sons, Neil and Alan; daughter, Sandra; mother Genevieve Kohler; sisters, Lynette Figueroa, Sharyn Smith and Cheryl Hill; brothers, Russell, Kevin and Bryan Kinningham. Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary's Mauka Chapel at 1330 Maunakea Street in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 28, 2012. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. Service from 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
