KIRK JAY TEKARE, 40, of Laie, Hawaii passed away August 1, 2011 in Honolulu. Born in Laie, he was a ship steward and cook for Sause Brothers and was formerly employed at Jerome’s Plumbing, Pacific Builders and Hukilau Café. Kirk is survived by companion, Parsha L. Oliva; mother, Isabella Christy; brothers, Erin Tekare, Anton Tekare and Earl Baillie.
Visitation 9:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Laie Hawaii North Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (55-630 Naniloa Loop, Laie). Service 12 noon. Burial 1:30 p.m. at the Laie Cemetery. Aloha attire requested.
