Lewis Tu On Leong was born on December 31, 1926, in Mergui, Burma. Lewis was the eldest son and the third of nine children. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1971, and was a retiree of Bank of Hawaii, main branch.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Ruby; sons, Sonny (Georgy) and Winston (Debbie); grandchildren, Travis (Tara), Maris, and Desmond; siblings, Janet (Walter), Judson (Shirley), Wilson (Daisy) and Margaret (Shong Ghee); sister-in-law Yvonne and brother-in-law Boon Kyi. He was preceded in death by siblings Lillian, Nelson, Johnson and Rosie. He passed away on December 16, 2012, at the age of 86.
