Loretta Y. Louis

Loretta Sai Ying Young Louis was born on January 6, 1926 in Honolulu, HI. She had four brothers who are all deceased. She married Luke L. Louis on January 4, 1951. Together, she and her husband built their home on Halawa Drive in 1956 at which time her niece Sonia went to live with them when they moved into their new home. She loved to bowl and joined the bowling team at work. She worked as a Security Clerk at Public Works Center until she retired. She loved to go fishing with her husband and friends and did that every weekend. She also loved to play cards with her family and friends over the weekend. She joined aerobics classes and would walk at the park or mall for exercise. She also loved to travel and did so with her husband or nieces and nephews. She loved to have friends and family around and would always have dinners at the house and picnics at the beach with family and friends especially during the holidays and on special occasions. She loved reading novels and watching television in her later years. We will all miss having her with us.

A Memorial will be held Friday May 4, 2021 at Borthwick Mortuary.

Visitation between 10:00 am and 1:00 p.m.

Service beginning at 11:00 a.m

Burial to follow at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
