Lucille Marie Luukia Kapuamohala Kalauokaaea-Kahele 77, of Waimanalo, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. She was born on October 9, 1948 in Waiahole Valley. Proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools Class of 1966. Blessed retiree of the U.S Postal Service. She loved Ke Akua and lived her days out sharing His love with others. She is survived by her children Danni Soares (Kunesh), Kahealani (Kalauokaaea-Kahele) Lakalo,Keli'i'ikeole (Irvin Soares)KAlauokaaea-Kahele and Dallas Soares Kalauokaaea-Kahele, fifteen mo'opuna, and three great mo'opuna'
Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary; Visitation 10:00 am; Services 11:00 am. Scattering of ashes ceremony on Sunday March 1, 2026 at Kaiona Beach Park (Waimanalo) from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Casual attire for both Celebrations. Flowers and lei's welcome.
