

He was born on June 07, 1926 in Lihue, Hawaii, he was a retired supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife Helen Hilacion of 63 years; son, Gary (Terry) Hilacion of California; two daughters: Tammy Shamburger of Arizona and Lovena Hilacion of Ewa Beach;
Six grandchildren: Tiffany Travers, AJ Valiente, Ashley DeCosta, Sean Shamburger, and Brittney and Christine Tolentino;
10 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Aaron, and Sabrina Valiente; Joley and Hailey DeCosta; Isabella and Kalei Travers; Riley, Kaelyn, and Cyrus Shamburger.
Two brothers: Alfonso Hilacion and Lawrence Araneta; two sisters: Virginia Waiwaiole and Eleanor Borilez; two brother-in-laws: Manuel (Lanette) Figueroa and Harold (June) Figueroa: and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Mililani Mortuary Downtown where a celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. by Pastor Luigi Figueroa. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans at Kaneohe.
