Marguerite Arvilla Wong

Marguerite is the daughter of Marguerite Van Gieson and Arthur Arion Hoke Sr. She is survived by her companion of Thirty-six years, Carl D. Camvel, Brother Arthur Arion Hoke Jr.,(wife Sibi), and Brother Parker Panaewa Widemann (wife Rachel) , her Son, Donald Nielson (wife Sandy), Daughters, Hiilani Romero (husband Gilbert), and Cynthia Tano. Blessed with eleven Grandchildren and seventeen Great Grandchildren, many Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews and extended family.

Marguerite, known as (Muggie) by many friends and co-workers was employed at the Outrigger Hotel when it first opened until she retired in 1990. We will treasure the beautiful memories of the many happy gatherings and celebrations at her home in Niu Valley, and her gift of unconditional love.

She will be buried at Punchbowl Cemetery Friday May 10th at 8:30 a.m. On Saturday, May 11, 2019 there will be a Celebration of Life for Family and Friends at the Pohai Nani Auditorium at 45-090 Namoku Street, Kaneohe, HI 96744 from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers or gifts that you donate to a charity of your choice in honor of Marguerite Wong. She was an avid believer in helping those less fortunate and a great supporter of education.
