Melvin Hiroshi Fontanilla, 77, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. Born in Ewa, Hawaii was a carpenter. He is survived by wife, Gladys Fontanilla; daughters, Shari Sanchez, Kathy Mizusawa, Michelle Fontanilla, Denise Leatherman; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. on November 19, 2013 at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel located on 1330 Maunakea Street Honolulu, HI 96817. Service is from 11:00 a.m. Burial is scheduled at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
