Raymond Shimooka, 84, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away on October 3rd at Tripler Army Hospital. Raymond was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Communication Specialist. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Shimooka; sons, Jeffrey L. Shimooka and Russell K. Shimooka; sister, Janet S. Vicari; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held on October 14th at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel located at 1330 Maunakea Street in Honolulu. Visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am. Inurnment to follow at 3:00pm at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific located at 2177 Puowaina Drive in Honolulu.
Casual/aloha attire suggested.
