Robert James Spina, 30, of Kaaawa, Hawaii, passed away on July 5, 2014 at the Kahuku Medical Center. He was born in Denver, Colorado. Robert was an Oceanographic Research Technician for UH. He is survived by his parents, Robert J. Spina and Linda Cruse Wright; brother, John Spina; sisters, Hayden Salazar and Catherine Spina; step-father, Edward "Avi" Wortis; grandmother, Mary Spina.
