RUDOLPH “RUDY” CALIZAR THOMAS, SR., 81, of Honolulu, passed away November 3, 2011. He was born March 12, 1930 in Honolulu and was a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the Hawaii Army National Guard with over 36 years of service.
Survived by wife, Rowena; sons, Rudolph Thomas, Jr. and Chris A. (Loren) Thomas; daughters, Thalia “Noe” Chang and Lia McCurdy; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Peter Bacolod Thomas, Jr.; sister, Gloria Asuncion Dumolt.
Visitation 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, at Borthwick Mortuary-Mauka Chapel; service 6:30 p.m. Private committal at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire requested.
