Rustituto Cameros

Rustituto “Rusty” Cameros was born on September 30, 1948 in Waipahu Hawaii. He was married to the

late Linda Cambra. They raised 3 children and went on to raise their granddaughter. He served in the

United States Navy with an honorable discharge. He went on to be a welder at the Pearl Harbor

Shipyard where he retired. His granddaughter Plumeria paid this tribute to him, “He was a good man,

very humble. He brought out the best in his loved one’s and never gave up on anyone. He will be sorely

missed and never forgotten.”

He was predeceased by his wife Linda Cameros

Rustituto is survived by his Father; Rusty Haino. Children; Tracy Cameros, Rachelle Cameros and Russell

Cameros. Grandchildren; Rachel Cameros, Kekoa Yuen, Kainoa Dicion, Kainalu Dicion, William Lawrence,

Ryan Lawrence, Plumeria Lawrence, Kiana Cameros and Kaiwi Cameros. Great grandchildren; Nevaeh

Kaululaau, Ryzen Kaululaau, Isabella Yuen and Emma-Lynn Yuen. Siblings; Tinsley, Vernon, Jeanette,

Jack, Thomas, Robert, Raymond, Gerald, Mary, Megan, Verna and Gloria.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Borthwick Mortuary – Maunakea Chapel,

Visitation will be at 4:30 PM and Evening Service will be at 5:30 PM. Burial will take place on Monday,

January 13, 2020, 11:00 AM at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
