Shirley Theresa Rezentes, born February 18, 1930 was called home to eternal rest on July 7, 2019 with all her family by her bedside. She was born in Honolulu to Charles and Angeline Lake Sr. and raised in Kaimuki. Shirley was the oldest of five children. While attending high school Shirley met the love of her life Richard Rezentes. They recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on May 10. Shirley was a member of the Young Ladies Institute and volunteered for many years in our community as well as St. Anthony's Outreach Program. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, sons Gordon(Marvis), Gary, daughter Jenifer, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grand children, sister Loretta and brother Francis (Carla). Services will be held at St. Anthony's Church Kailua on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Visitation 9:30 - 11:00 am, mass at 11:00 with refreshments to follow. Burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park at 3 pm.
