He grew up in Kaimuki and attended Kalani High School. He was a retired IT Specialist with the City and County of Honolulu and a member of the church of Christ.
Stephen was preceded in death by father, Albert Kahn, and is survived by wife, Wachira, mother, Bettie, brother, Rodney, sisters Kathryn, Susan Kubo, and Phyllis Leu, and his brothers and sisters in Christ.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Honolulu church of Christ, 1732 Keeaumoku Street.
