Vernon Alan Kim

Vernon is survived by; son Vernon H. "Keone" Kim; daughter Carol "Soonie" Gaoiran (Alex); and son Patrick "Okala" Kim. He was also survived by grand children Natasha Dayton (Art), Alan Moriwaki (Anechia), Alyson Moriwaki (Taylor), Patrick "Kanae" Kim, and Ava Garcia Kim, and great grand children Shayden, Nainoa and Micah. He also leaves behind siblings Edwin Kim (Soony), Ernie Kim (Chris), and Debbie Hopkins (Tom).

Vernon was preceded in death by; siblings Harold Butchie Kim (Stephanie), Naomi Nitta (Barney), Cynthia Choy (Winsten), and Kiddy Kim.

A celebration of life for Vernon will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Kualoa State Park, 49-479 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch will be served 12:30 pm followed by a Tribute to Vernon from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The family will be paddling out at 3:30 pm for scattering.
