WALLACE G.T. CHING, 86, of Honolulu, a retired ship maintenance scheduler at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and U.S. Army veteran of World War II, passed away June 11, 2012 in Honolulu. He is survived by wife, Harriet; son, Wendell; daughter, Mona (Larry) Ung; grandchildren, Ryan, Alissa and Kelsey; brothers, Jack and William; sisters, Violet Chew and Eleanor Lung.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Church, 2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu, HI 96819; Eulogy and Mass at 10:30 a.m. with committal service and burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Family requests no flowers. Casual attire is suggested.
