

Winona Pualani Anzalone, 70, of Kailua, born in Honolulu, passed away on October 4, 2011 at Hawaii Medical Center-East. She graduated from The Kamehameha Schools in 1959 and attended the University of Hawaii - Manoa. She travelled extensively throughout the world before returning to Hawaii. She began her career working with Paradise Pacific Magazine, Sea Flight, and continued into sales within the hotel travel industry. Her career spanned over 30 years, retiring in 2007. She had the ability to capture and embrace the "Aloha Spirit" in her daily life. Her grace, charm and wit formed many lasting friendships for all who knew and were so fortunate to have known her. She was a devoted mother, loving and kind sister, caring grandmother and great-grandmother who loved everyone unconditionally. She will be lovingly remembered, and we will keep her memory with us forever.
She is survived by her son Kuhio Bailey, daughters Kaiulani Clark and Kahana Kane; brother Jonah Ebinger; sisters Edwina U. Johnson, Deanna L. McFadden and Loretta A. Ebinger; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
