She was born in Zhongshan, China and later immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii to be closer with her family. She was a school teacher in her early years and later on became a house wife to care for her daughters and grandchildren.
She was the wife of Bing Jie Lin, the mother of 4 daughters: Mei In Lam (Chun Lam Lam), Yide Stewart (Stephen Stewart), Mei Chang Lam (Kam Chio Lao), and Meiyuan Lin, and the grandmother of 5 grandsons: Benjamin Liang, Hoi Lao, Su Lao, Chak Hon Lam, and Alan Stewart, and 2 granddaughters: Jacqueline Stewart and Yuk Ling Lam.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with loved ones.
She will be dearly missed. May she forever rest in peace and love.
Services will be held on December 24, 2025 at Borthwick Mortuary. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
