
Agnes Deaver, 91, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22nd. Mrs. Deaver spent over fifty years working by her mother’s side operating Guiton’s Sandwich Shop, which was a staple in downtown Fayetteville.
Mrs. Deaver enjoyed and loved her family and often shared memories of the past with the younger generations. Mrs. Deaver was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Guiton, mother, Lila Guiton, husband, Donovan Mitchell Deaver, Sr., grandson Jonathan Michael Pilon, and great granddaughter, Aubrey Morgan McLean.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Shirley Pilon, and husband John Pilon, son, David McLean, Sr. and wife Donna McLean, son Mark McLean, Sr. and wife Therese McLean, and son Donovan Mitchell Deaver, Jr.
Mrs. Deaver also leaves behind grandson David McLean, Jr. and wife Pam McLean, grandson Brian Pilon and wife Allison Pilon, grandson Mark McLean, Jr. and wife Destiny McLean, grandson Jackson Mitchell Deaver, and grandson Christian Gabriel Deaver.
Mrs. Deaver was also blessed with six great grandchildren, Ainsley McLean, Jonathan Pilon, Caleb Pilon, Will Pilon, Mason McLean, and Landon McLean.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Cumberland Memorial Garden in the coming week.
