Dearest Uncle LJ and Cousins,

Bob and I love you all so very much and grieve with you.   

I am so grateful I was able to talk with Aunt Audrey a few weeks ago. I could write so much about her and what a truly joyful, loving, and kind soul she was to all who knew her.   She was compassionate and caring, and a good listener.  

I have many fond memories.  My favorite place to come was always Aunt Audrey's and Uncle LJ's house - we'd sit and talk and drink sweet tea. In fact, I learned to like peas at Aunt Audrey's house.  She knew just how to make them right.  Another special memory I have is riding in the Cadillac.  Aunt Audrey always loved to go places and we'd zip over to Aunt Dorothy's or Aunt Phoebe's and Grandma's house; or shop at the PX, or go to the beach.  I loved sitting in the back seat, listening to Elvis singing "Suspicion" on the radio, or "If I Had a Hammer."  I can still feel the interior of the back seat.  That is how vivid these memories are to me, even now.  Aunt Audrey always made me feel special.  Always.  And nobody could say "shug" as sweetly.   

After Bob and I were married, some of my best memories from our visits down to NC are of Aunt Audrey and me sitting in the kitchen early in the morning talking about anything and everything, and telling each other joke upon joke.  We'd laugh our heads off like silly little girls.  And she had the greatest laugh!  

She will remain in our hearts always, until we meet again.  Until then, Bob and I pray the Lord will comfort you as you comfort each other.

We are very sorry to hear the news about our dear sweet neighbor, we did not have the honor of knowing her long as we are new to the neighborhood However we would like you to know our thoughts and prayers are with her family. God Bless.

We enjoyed visiting with Audrey the few times we were able to. She was a sweet and loving person. She will be missed.

I have nothing but wonderful memories of Aunt Audrey. Growing up as a child we visited you all on a regular basis and even into adulthood, seeing each other at family reunions and reminiscing about the past always made me smile. I cant tell you how glad I am that I got to visit with her on Saturday before she passed. What a great lady!!!

Dear Mr. Brinson. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. We will always remember Mrs. Brinson for her kindness,caring heart, and her love of family.
