Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Copeland Fickling, Sr. and Yvonne Fickling, and son, Kenneth Howard James, Jr.
Leaving to cherish her memories are husband, Mack Roy Butler; son, Doyle James and wife Gina; granddaughter, Celia Kenita Reynolds and husband John T. Reynolds; grandson, Kyle James; daughter-in-law, Marolyn Wilson; brother, Horace Copeland Fickling, Jr. and wife Sue; and her two beloved cats, Bella and Simon.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Chaplain John Blackman officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Cape Fear Hospice 1830 Owen Drive, Suite 203, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
