Bobby was born on August 5, 1962 in Portsmith, VA, to Robert Ervin and Carolyn Elaine Blakely.
The family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. following the visitation.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ervin Blakely.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jan Blakely; daughter, Julie Gulick; son, Christopher Blakely; stepdaughters, Serena Hagan and Charity Ferendzo; stepson, Noah Stickler; mother, Carolyn Blakely; brothers, Roby Blakely, Don Blakely, and Mark Blakely; and 11 grandchildren.
