Ethel Marie Dittrich

Ethel graduated from Meadville High School, class of 1949, where she was a member of the bowling team and the Tri-dette club. After graduation, she worked at Spencer Hospital in various positions within the facility and ended her career as an electrocardiograph technician.

Ethel married the late William (Bill) Dittrich on May 4, 1950 and they had three children, William Jr. (deceased), Kim, and Robert (deceased). Together they traveled throughout most of the United States and eventually settled in Naples, FL. She was a bird-watching enthusiast and loved to crochet. She was also a wonderful sister, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Kim Johnson of Fayetteville; sister, Colly Beck of Havelock; and grandsons, Ronald Johnson, of St. Louis, MO, and Shane Dittrich, of PA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11 am at St. John's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville.

Services are entrusted to Reeves Funeral Home, Hope Mills.
