He was born on December 5, 1929 in Dillon, SC to the late Robert and Eulah Bullard Webster.
Fred Webster was a loving father and husband. His family meant the world to him. They always came first. After retiring from the Army, he still kept the “Old Sarge” attitude. He loved the beach, and wetting a hook was his favorite pastime. A jack of all trades and a master of most, you could always find him fixing something. He will be terribly missed, as he was loved very much, and brought joy to his family, his children, and our mother, Nancy Webster. He has gone home to be with our loving mother and we miss them both.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, November 30, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West in Fayetteville.
Mr. Webster leave to cherish his memory, his daughter, Cindy “Bunny” Handley; son, Fred “Freddy” Webster, Jr.; daughter, Yolanda “Skeeter” Webster; three sisters; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Fred Webster was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
