Mr. Hester was born on January 7, 1947, in Fayetteville, to the late Francis and Bertha Hester.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Crystal Springs Chapel in Fayetteville, with Pastor Bruce Suggs officiating.
Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Hester.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Lee Hester; three brothers, Charlie Hester, Cliff Hester, and Buddy Hester; two sisters, Betty Rogers and Elizabeth New, and four grandchildren.
