Harold DeWayne Phillips

Harold “Fuzzy” Phillips age 61, of Godwin, died Sunday, May 8 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Harold was born in Harnett Co. NC, June 6, 1954 son of the late Harold “Peg” and Margaret Horne Phillips. He was retired and enjoyed working on cars and trucks, yard maintenance and was a huge fan of drag racing. “Fuzzy” got his nick name after getting his hair cut when he was a little boy and the barber rubbed his head and said “O K, Fuzzy.” His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastors Arthur Horne and Bobby Page Officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardy Autry Cemetery on Hayes Mill Rd. He is survived by: Wife: Karen Phillips of Godwin, NC Sister: Kay P. Byrd of Dunn, NC. Brothers: Larry Mac Phillips and wife Deborah of Dunn, NC, Rex Phillips of Clinton, NC, and Michael Lee Phillips and wife Alice of Hope Mills, NC Many nieces and nephews The Family will receive friends Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn and other times at the home.
