She was a long time member of Jesus First Church of Fayetteville, NC. She is survived by a daughter, Denise Castle and husband Sidney Castle of Winona, MS. son, Tommy Smith of Hope Mills, NC. A daughter, Diane Rozier and husband David Rozier. Hazel had 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Ricky Smith.
A funeral service will be held at Jesus First Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday with interment to follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens of Wilmington, NC. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her church, Jesus First Church 7467 Camden Rd Fayetteville, NC 28306.
