

The Robinson family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ingrid Paula Maria Hermine (Kohl) Robinson, age 89, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Born on December 14, 1935, in Kassel, Germany, she was the cherished daughter of Louise Robert (Otto) and Maria Margareta Elisabeth Kohl. Ingrid had a profound love for cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren, along with a steadfast commitment to helping others.
Her life was profoundly influenced by her experiences during World War II and the early post-war years. In 1963, she immigrated to the United States with her late husband, Master Sergeant (Retired) James O. Robinson Sr., with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.
Ingrid is survived by her six children: Robert Kettler, Hellen P. Harlston, Caroline E. Robinson, James O. Robinson Jr., Cornellia (Connie) Murchison, and Michael A. Robinson, along with her devoted sons and daughters-in-law: Sterling, Henry, Michelle, Darrall, and Melanie. She also leaves behind fourteen beloved grandchildren: Felix, Christopher, Sterling James, Neely, Carima, Prime, Devon, Jordan, Von, Darrall,
McKenna, Erika, Shannon, and Kenneth, as well as three great-grandchildren: Christiana, Cecilia, and Prime-James.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Golden Years, Marshall’s Property & Rentals, Harris Lawn Care, Omar’s Home Renovations, In-home Hospice, 2nd Family Home Care, and Support Services and the East Baltimore Church of Christ for their care and unwavering support during Ingrid’s final years.
A visitation with family & friends for Ingrid will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:30 AM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina.

thoughtful way to remember Ingrid while supporting our mission, which was near
and dear to her heart.
In its inception, Ingrid’s late husband of 59 years, James, was instrumental in
procuring the foundation’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. In addition to James’s
annual monetary contribution to the foundation, he served as the foundation’s
treasurer from 2004 to 2017.
The Robinson and Page Family Scholarship Foundation has provided multiple
scholarships in various fields of study. These scholarships support students with
expenses while attending accredited universities, colleges, and trade schools.
This is all made possible through donations.
