James Henry Johnson Sr.

James Henry Johnson, 68, of Fayetteville North Carolina passed away on January 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Johnson and Frances Virginia Guinn Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Trish Johnson, Daughters Dana Thorpe (Pete), Kimberly Johnson; son Jimmy Johnson; stepchildren Phillip Bernier and Tammi Martinson; grandchildren Tiffany Jenkins, Jazmine Johnson, Alize’ Butler, Christian Bernier, Joseph Bernier, Kira Bernier, Jenna Smith, Alex Smith, Shelby Smith, and Grace Smith; great grandchildren Christopher Jenkins and James Jenkins.

James was a good man with a heart full of love and god. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with each and every one. When he stepped into a room, he filled that room with love, laughter, and energy. He was known for his corny jokes. He could tell you the same joke one hundrend times and make you laugh every single time.

The family will accept friends Wednesday January 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. A memorial service honoring James will follow at 7pm Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Reeves Funeral Home.
