James Kenny Stewart

Mr. Kenny Stewart, age 71 of Dunn died Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.

Kenny was born September 21, 1950 in Harnett County the son of the late James Alton Stewart and Willa Dean Glover Stewart.

Kenny retired with 47 years of service with Rockwell International known now as Flowserve in Raleigh and a graduate of Dunn High School.

Kenny was a loving husband, father and grandfather, his family was very important to him. He was known to be a very hard worker and a true overachiever. He loved fishing and gardening. He was a Muscle Car enthusiast and loved Chevelle's the best.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Devotional Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jerome Pope officiating.

He is survived by: His wife: Alma Allen Stewart of the home.

A Son: Jamie Stewart & (wife) Irene of Benson, NC.

A Sister: Dale Matthews of Clayton, NC.

Grandchildren: Steven Champion, Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Jaelyn Irene Stewart and Greyden James Stewart both of Benson, NC.

His Dog: Bear

Nephew: Steven Tyler Matthews of Raleigh, NC and Niece: Morgan Brooke Matthews of Wilmington, NC.

The family will receive friends Tuesday Evening, February 22, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
