Jefferey Claude Muse

Born to LC muse and Faye Diggs Muse on January 8th, 1965, Jeff was a devoted family man as well as a hard-working provider. Jeff loved all sports, but his favorites were UNC basketball and Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved working outside and being his grandchildren’s pop pop. Jeff took care of his many animals, his favorite being his loyal dog Little Girl. As much as Jeff loved sports, his love laid at the feet of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father L.C. Muse and his sister Kelly (Missy) Muse.

Jeff leaves behind his mother Faye Diggs Muse, his loving wife of 35 years Tammy West Muse of the home. Children Richard Muse and wife Lauren of Carthage, Tamara Muse Walden and husband Johnny of the home. 4 beautiful grandchildren, Morgan Calvin and Madison Walden of the home and Kyle Ring and Leah Muse of Carthage. Brothers Mike Muse of Carthage, Matt Muse and wife Clarissa of Aberdeen and John Games and wife Helen of Carthage. Sisters Brandi Muse of Carthage, Amanda Muse of Carolina beach, Megan Muse Grubb and husband Everett of Vass. And all extended family and friends as well.

The family will have a public viewing at Hall’s Memorial Church located at 3612 Union Church Road in Carthage on January 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with services to follow thereafter.

Family welcomes all friends back to the home for remembrance.
