Joaquin L.G. Nauta

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Patsy Blas Nauta; daughters, Thelma Marie Blas Nauta and Carolyn and husband William Haia; sons, Joaquin Jr. Nauta IV and his wife Darlene Parr and Johnathan Eric Nauta and Maria Ortiz; 11 grandkids; and one great-grandson; and siblings, Annie and Jesus Rosario, Carmen Tainatongo, Mary and Joaquin Cruz, Sue and Larry Lucena, Anthony and Maricel Nauta, Pauline and Abet Gato, John and Julie Nauta, Benny Nauta, Lourdes and Joe Jesus, William and Margaret Nauta, Sylvia and Antonio Naputi, David Nauta and Bobbie Pangelinan, Gena Perez, and Helen and Anthony George. Along with his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara Blas and Daniel Finona, Anthony Blas, August and Agnes Blas, Peter and Selma Blas, Manuel and Veronica Blas. Close family friend, Karen D. Blas.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Eleanor Blas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Reeves Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Gaul officiating.

He will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with the rendering of full military honors, following the funeral mass.
