May Ninnie McLaurin

May was born on October 14, 1939 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to the late Barak and Florice Barnum.

May is preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Taylor; her daughters, Iva Rising and Nancy Reed; her son, Teddy Paxton; her grandson, Robert Reed; her twin sister, Fay Ward; her sister Shirlene McDaniel; her brothers, Glen Barnum and Charles Barnum. She is survived by her husband, Lester McLaurin; her children, Veronica Benedict, Jerome Paxton (Christine), and Carlton Taylor; her stepson, Nathaniel McLaurin; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A visitation with family & friends for May will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:30 PM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at Lafayette Memorial Park West, 6701 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
