Olga Serrano-Rios

She was born April 13, 1938 in Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Felipe Serrano and Delfina Rios. Also preceding her in death is her beloved husband of 57 years, Rafael Rolon.

Olga was a compassionate woman that had a deep faith in the Lord, active in her church community and dedicated to her family. She enjoyed baking, music, singing, dancing and most of all spending time with her family. Her concern for others and empathy was something that brought warmth to all who met her, she will be deeply missed for her genuine nature and caring ways.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Angel Rafael Rolon and wife Myra of Puerto Rico and Rafael Rolon Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; daughters, Betty Santana of New York and Olga Rolon of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Ann Dora, Andrew, Naldo, Paul (Aurora), Nina (Luis), Mark (Kristin), Robyn (TJ), Vanessa, and Jahaira; 21 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held 2:30 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1000 Andrews Road, Fayetteville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
