Raymond Chris Reece

Chris was a member of Village Baptist Church. He loved the Lord fiercely. He lived and breathed for his family, especially his wife, Karen and his son, Will. Chris was very proud of his career in telecommunications for UNC Air Care as well as the time he spent as a firefighter and police officer for Chapel Hill. Speaking of pride and passion, Chris was an avid Carolina Tarheels fan.

Chris was greeted in Heaven by his son, William Loren Reece and his mother, Bettie Reece. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Karen Reece; his children, Christina Brown and Zoey Myers; his father, Lecil Reece; his grandchildren, Suzanna Jean Miller and Rosita Marie Miller; his sisters, DuWan Wetzel (Jay), and Pam Reece (Tori Weight); and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his fur children, Grand Lady Tasha, and Lincoln.

The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Village Baptist Church. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Village Baptist Church.
