

Richard Harding, a beloved and hard-working individual, passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on May 3, 1941, to Irvin and Adelle Harding in South Boston, Virginia, Richard lived a life marked by dedication and passion.
After retiring from a successful career in the finance industry, Richard found immense joy working at Harley Davidson. His career was a testament to his hard-working nature and his ability to find fulfillment in his endeavors.
Richard was an avid car enthusiast and a talented builder and flyer of radio-controlled airplanes. He was a proud member of the Piedmont Aeromodelers and Davis Bridge Aeromodelers. His love for flying began early, as he became the youngest solo pilot at the age of 15 at Clover Airport, and he briefly worked checking power lines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 41 years, Georgia Harding, and his beloved dog Zoey. Richard is survived by his children, Angie Harding (Mike), Jenni Davis (George), and Daniel Harding (Katie). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Brittany Bullard (David), Morgan Vandenbark (Justin), Sydni Stedtefeld (Justin), Neil Harding, and Gia Harding, and his great-grandchildren, Danica Gibson, Jax Vandenbark, and Nikolai Senkbeil. He is also survived by his sister, Miriam Mozingo (Van), his beloved dog Zeus, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Richard Harding's life was a tapestry of family, passion, and dedication, leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Reeves Funeral Home, located at 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina, 28348. The gathering is scheduled for March 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
