Richard Lawrence Tolston II, 52, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Richard finally decided to leave on his own terms after a long and courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Heart disease. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years, Dana; his mother Josephine Tolston; his three children; Kimberly Szadek (AJ), Krissy Khan (Andrew), and Richard Tolston III; his Grandchildren, Adrien, Kara Mae, Eevie, and Addi Jae; his Honorary Son Willie Huggins; his sister JoAnn McDaniel (Ricky), and his Special Aunts Clennis Tolston and Ann Harrell. Richard also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many extended friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Tolston, many special Uncles and Aunts, and his granddaughter Ryan Lee Khan. The family would like to express their special love and recognition to the caregivers who supported Richard and his family, as well as the friends who surrounded them with love and support over the past few years.
The service for Richard Tolston II will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1 PM at Pittman Grove Baptist Church, 4921 Pittman Grove Church Rd, Raeford, NC. There will be a visitation with family and friends Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N. Main St, Hope Mills, NC.
