Roland Carl Wallace

On the afternoon of Saturday, the 24th of June, 2023, Roland Carl Wallace passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord. He was born on the 15th of September, 1958 to Kermit Robert and Janet Marilyn Wallace in East Orange, New Jersey.

Roland was an honorable veteran of The United States Marine Corps, a volunteer fireman, and a lifelong tinkerer on anything mechanical. A loving and devoted father, and a pillar of the community, Roland is missed by the people he touched from "California to Miami." His dedication and perseverance was felt and appreciated by all who knew him.

Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Janet Wallace, and his brother, Kerry Alan Wallace.

Roland is survived by his sons, Nathaniel Carl (Victoria), and Wayne Michael; His siblings, Barry Wallace (Rose), Lawrence Blyden (Christel), Dalton Blyden (Dana), Ronald Bouldware (Felicia), Rory Mial, Kimberli Weaver (Keith), and Kendell Lynn Wallace. He was also blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Nathaniel Carl Jr., Hadley Grace, and Bentley Michael; as well as many extended family, Gregory and Deloria Jackson, and dear friends and family.

The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, North Carolina.
