He is cherished in memory by his mother, Carolyn Harvell of Hope Mills; his sister, Teresa Bordeaux and her husband Paul of Hope Mills; and his nephews Justin Bordeaux and Charles Harvell, III.
He was preceded in passing by his father, Charles W. Harvell.
