Barbara Sanders

September 16, 1965 - December 7, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Hot Springs Arkansas, Barbara passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 60 years old.

Barbara was born and raised in Hot Springs. After marrying her former husband Chris Sanders, a Navy Seaman, she traveled the country living in five different states. During those years they adopted a little boy and later returned home to Hot Springs where she felt the most grounded.

Barbara was a 1985 graduate of Lake Hamilton High School. She preferred the comfort and coziness of home with her beloved three cats Max, Stormie and Tabby.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father Johnny L. Green Sr., her birth mother Anna Johnston. Stepmother Jeannie Green and her Paternal grandparents on her fathers and both mothers’ side of the family.

Barbara is Survived by her Son and Grandson - Brent Joseph Green Sanders(son), Bridger Sanders (grandson), three brothers, all of Hot Springs, Johnny L Greend Jr. (Cindy), Jason L. Green, Jordan L. Green, and one sister Rachel Green of Hot Springs. She also leaves behind many aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins. family and friends who he loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

To our beautiful sister and mother:

You left this world way too soon and we didn't get to say goodbye. You grew your angel wings to be in Heaven with loved ones who have passed before us. Thank you, Barbara Ann, for the many years of love and laughter you showed us, we know this is not goodbye, but we will see you again some other day.
