Bill Max Acord

Bill M. Acord 79, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 3rd, 2017. He was born April 26th, 1937 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Leonard and Nellie Burchfield Acord. You would have loved to watch the Razorbacks with Bill; he had a witty sense of humor and really fostered a cheerful atmosphere. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. A Christian man, he loved to fish, play golf and served our country through the USAF Reserves from 1958 until 1961 in the 184th Tac Recon Squadron. After retiring from Alfa Laval in Kansas City, he made Hot Springs Village his home. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Acord. Cherishing his memory are his children, Tracy Acord (Laura) of Houston, Texas, Rose Penrose (Mark) of Kansas City, Missouri, and David Acord (Joy) of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; and a host of friends.
