Curtis Wayne Fowler

Curtis Wayne Fowler, age 91, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was born December 18, 1931, in Lake City, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson Birton and Eva Florence Fowler, and siblings, Frances Key, Hubert Fowler, Woodrow Fowler, Millie Fowler Chipman and Wilburn Fowler, and his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years, Nancy Bishop Fowler. He is survived by his sister, Bobera Johnson, and his children, Sue and Larry Willis, Andy and Rhonda Fowler, and Millie and Dave Sullivan; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Justin Seigrist, Heath Pepper, Christopher Boshears, Jeffery and Charisse Boshears, Jason Willis and Megan Willis; his great grandchildren, Jesse Seigrist, and Josie, Sofie and Levi Boshears.

Curtis was lucky to have loved twice and is survived by his wife of 21 years, Charlotte Fowler. He loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as his own: her children, Todd and Nancy Klais and Kerrie and Kerry Pierce; her grandchildren, JC Klais, Bradley Klais, and Austin and Caitlin Klais, Savannah and Kevin Wilson, Tyler, Rylie and Sydney Pierce, great grandchildren, Kinsley Bell and Skyler Wilson, Connor Streeter and Parker Klais.

Curtis was a proud graduate of Georgia Tech graduating with a mechanical engineering degree and was a member of the Kappa Sig fraternity. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Worthington until he bought his own company Arkansas Industrial Machinery, Inc. He loved fishing and living on Lake Hamilton. He loved projects and could build or fix anything. He was an active member of Hot Springs Church of Christ. He loved watching Razorback basketball and football.

He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs at 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander at 3:00 p.m.
