Doreen Klein

Doreen was such a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoying thoroughbred racing, bowling or making a trip to the casino! Although she was an NBA fan (Shaq & Lebron James), her grandson’s sporting events brought her the most joy. When not with family, you could find her sewing, playing piano, watching a good soap opera, or solving the next word search puzzle. Doreen was known for her plants and eclectic turtle collection. Having been a devout catholic, she was a member of St. John’s and St. Mary’s Catholic Church’s.

Cherishing her memory are her husband of 65 years, Francis Klein; their children, Mark Klein (Patricia) of St. Louis, MO, Terri Flint (Bernie) of Louisville, KY, Debbie Krajcir (Steve), Kathy Webber, Mick Klein, and Greg Klein, all of Hot Springs; sister, Sharon (Rob); brother, Lynn Shultz; Grandchildren, Kristen Leonard, Robert Donavon, Anthony Klein, Shawn Klein (Jen), Lance Flint, Kevin Krajcir, Grant Webber, Nathan Webber; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, at St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church with Frs. George Sanders and Fr. Ravi Gudipalli as celebrants.

Doreen was loved by everyone that knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Mary or St. John’s Catholic Church or The Hands of Mary women’s group of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
