

Edna Earle McKinney, 95, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, in a local assisted living home. Born Nov. 19, 1919, in Hot Springs to O. B. and Lena Conrad, she was a retired thoroughbred horse owner and arts and craft store owner. One of her proudest moments was winning the 1996 Rainbow Stakes at Oaklawn Park with their horse, Our Consolation.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. McKinney, sisters, Geraldine Colbert, Lavelle Caver, Charlotte Noe, Fay Dieckmann, Lucille Stauder, Odessa Pittman and Mildred Halsell; brothers, Ray Conrad, Maurice Conrad and Marion Conrad.
Survivors include one sister, Patricia Salladay of Boynton Beach, FL and one brother-in-law, Ralph Noe of Hot Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. and the service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Gross Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris Runck, Jeremy Bennetts, James D. Ledbetter, John D. Ledbetter, Gordon Embree & Ryan Noe. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Atrium and Arkansas Hospice.
