Ellen M. Sharp, age 86, of Jessieville, Arkansas, was born on February 13, 1939, to Wesley Graves and Esta Graves. She passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Ellen lived a life marked by strength, perseverance, and deep devotion to her family and faith. She was married for 50 years to the love of her life, Willie L. Sharp, and together they built a legacy of love that continues through generations.
Ellen found great joy traveling with her family gospel group, attending church, and spending time with her sisters in Christ. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She also cherished quiet moments working word find books, crocheting, and watching Wheel of Fortune with her daughters, Debra Hood and Karla DeArmon.
She is survived by her children: Karla DeArmon and husband Kevin DeArmon; Debra Hood; Karen Smith; Stanley Sharp and wife Deborah Sharp; Randy Sharp and wife Maggie Sharp; two fur babies, Elmer & Delmer.
Grandchildren: Carmon Sharp; Dolan Sharp; Manessa and Michael Martinez; Sarah Minyard; Ashley and Michael Makin; Amber Marie, Tyler and Elaina Fisher; Wesley and Lauren Smith; Justin DeArmon.
Great-Grandchildren: Nichole Cobb, Xander Cobb, Zane Cobb, Mia Makin, Mallory Makin, Ryder Makin, Creed Erick, Arya Marie, Ava Smith, Collin Minyard, Abby Sharp, Hailee Garza.
Additional survivors include her brother, Darrel Graves of Jessieville; her sister, Versee Crain-Hollis; and her sister-in-law, Lavaugn Miller of Hot Springs, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Graves and Esta Graves; her beloved husband, Willie L. Sharp; her son-in-law, Michael Smith; and her siblings: Grover Graves and wife Edith Graves, Delmer Graves, Elmer Graves and wife Elwanda Graves, Vivian Crain, Vividale Cain, Wilma (Halene) Harper, Josephine Burroughs and husband David Burroughs; and her fur baby, Allie.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses Sandra, Barbara, and Christina; the Area Agency on Aging; and Hospice Home Care for their compassion, kindness, and loving care shown to our mother.
The family also wishes to thank Mill Creek Baptist Church for their love, prayers, and continued support. A special thank you is extended to the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class for being our mother’s sisters in Christ and her cherished friends.
The pallbearers will be her grandsons: Dolan Sharp, Tyler Fisher, Wesley Smith, Justin DeArmon, Michael Makin, and Ryder Makin.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Xander Cobb, Zane Cobb, and Collin Minyard.

A visitation will be held at Mill Creek Baptist Church on Friday, February 13, 2026 to begin at 11:00am. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with a graveside service after at Smith Creek Cemetery. Guests may register at www.GrossFuneralHome.com .
