Elsie Faye Wilcox

Elsie enjoyed shopping and traveling with her twin daughters. One of her favorite trips with her daughters was to spend time in Gulf Shores watching and listening to the waves. She also had several lifelong friends with whom she enjoyed visiting. Elsie had a beautiful smile and she used it often. She was extremely loyal and protective of her faithful companion “Spot”.

Elsie enjoyed working and she was employed by several different businesses during her life including National Rejectors, Arky House, Munroe Shoes and the US Forest Service. She was known by her employers and customers as extremely friendly and helpful. She would oftentimes bring tasty goodies from home to spoil her fellow employees.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Daniel Wilcox. She is survived by her twin daughters; Linda Woodson (husband Rex) and Brenda Seiz (husband Tyler) both of Hot Springs, AR; one brother; Wayne Holland of Salt Lake City, UT. and other family members Mark Woodson of Kansas City, MO; Jon and Denise Seiz of Louisville, KY; and Janet Seiz and Eliza Willis of Iowa City, IA.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers and nurses at National Park Medical Center. Thank you for your loving care.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you provide donations to the First United Methodist Church or the Humane Society.

Funeral Services will be held at the Gross Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Brother David Wilson officiating. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Friday.
