

Gloria was born January 22, 1939, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Horace and Dorothy (Kassaw) Chunn. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Phil Moody.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 67 years, Kenneth Moody, son Randy (Sharonda) Moody of Cave City, AR, daughter Kellye Moody of Benton, grandson Dylan (Amber) Moody of Noel, MO, great-granddaughter Adaline Moody of Noel, MO, and family friend Sissy Hall of Benton, AR.
Gloria was a graduate of Hot Springs High School in 1957 where she was an honor student and cheerleader. Gloria attended Henderson College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where she met Kenneth Moody, whom she married May 14, 1958. Gloria had many hobbies. She enjoyed puzzles, playing games on her computer, and gardening. She enjoyed bowling for over 45 years. Gloria’s family was her pride and joy. She loved cooking for them and buying Christmas gifts and especially enjoyed filling their stockings with unique gifts, games, and cash. Gloria was an avid Razorback fan and never missed a game that was on TV. She loved to shop and had quite the collection of Razorback shirts and earrings. Gloria loved animals. She enjoyed watching the birds and deer in her yard. She leaves behind her cat, Lucky, and her dog Bailey.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 6, 2025, at Gross Funeral Home, 120 Wrights Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Alan Owens, Dylan Moody, Mickey Davis, Rick Tidwell, Dickie Kentner, and Caleb Brady.
Honorary Pallbearers include Billy Joe Moody and Lance Hall.
Visitation will be at 12:00pm. Service will be at 1:00pm and the burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery in the Sunshine community.
