Ruth was a devoted Christian and member of Mountain Pine Church of Christ where she spent many years teaching bible school. She was the epitome of the virtuous woman; selfless and patient while working hard to care for her family. She was known for her southern cooking and you could always find a large meal at her home after church on Sundays. She also enjoyed spending her time gardening, fishing or cheering on her favorite sports teams, especially the Razorbacks.
Meeting her in Heaven is her husband of 51 years, Ferrel Triplett; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Scooter Turnbull; daughter-in-law Teresa Triplett; granddaughter, Melissa Turnbull; siblings, Thomas Dillard, Joanne Byers, Jimmy Earl Dillard and her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bill Triplett (Debi), Jo Weaver (Tim), Lisa Triplett, Amy Anderson (Maynard); sister, Judy Dillard; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nephews that she helped raise; Mark, Matt and Mike Simmons along with numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
