

Henrietta O. Stumpf, 94, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 20th, 2015. She was born November 12th, 1920 in Port Allen, Louisiana to Henry and Sophie Burcham Oncal. Mrs. Stumpf was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She loved children and teaching. She taught several different grades in school, but first and second were her favorite. She will be deeply missed by her church family at Hot Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George Charles Stumpf. Cherishing her memory are her children, Karen Stumpf Kasovich of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Judith and her husband Earl Lyman of Hot Springs, and Dr. Chuck Stumpf of New Orleans; grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Kasovich, Anne Stumpf Goodman, and Stephen Stumpf; and great grandchildren, Patrick Moore, Jack Kasovich, and Jude Goodman. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookfield Assisted Living for all of their love and compassion. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Monday, March 23rd, 2015 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time on Monday at Gross Funeral Home.
