Jessie Lee Pryor

Jessie Lee Nitschmann Haney Pryor, 74, of Bismarck went safely home Monday, August 29, 2016. Jessie’s journey began on April 13, 1942 in Victoria, Texas. As a young child, she dreamed of becoming a nurse and in 1962, she graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. She dedicated her life to caring for the health and hearts of others. She retired in 1998 and spent the remainder of her years delighting in her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is rejoicing in Heaven with her parents, Jessie Cleora and Benjamin Roy Nitschmann and her sister, Margie Nell Cummins.

She will watch over her sister, Billie Rohan; her children, Karl Pryor and Sonja Clifton; her grandchildren, Ethan Clifton, Cheunjit Sujitraha, Pond Pryor, and James Pryor; great-grandchild, Hunter Burrows; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jessie loved ice cream, word puzzles, musicals and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Hillcrest Children’s Home, 2325 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901, whose work was close to Jessie’s heart.
